Ford to address '99 Cobra problems in September 1999. |

Owners of 1999 SVT Cobra Mustangs can begin to breath a little easier. BlueOvalNews has been told that SVT will start mailing out letters to all 1999 Cobra owners in mid September <review letters> to correct some problems owners are experiencing. BlueOvalNews originally obtained documents detailing the Cobra's problems from internal Ford documents <article here> on 13 July 99. We also obtained more internal documents and memos last week detailing the 1999 SVT Cobra's problems; however, since a fix is in the works there is no real need to post that material. The release of more internal documents would only continue to embarrass Ford and further question SVT when we are now ALL aware that they are working to correct the problems. It would; therefore, not be proper for BlueOvalNews to question Ford/SVT before this process can even begin. |
