BlueOvalNews was asked to investigate whether the Lincoln Continental would survive or die under all of the media speculation? We're going to make this report short and to the point. First, based on one set of internal Ford documents, the Continental will at least be offered into 2001 using the 4.6 DOHC tumble port engine. This document is dated January 1998. . . .kinda old. A different set of internal documents showed that the Lincoln Continental was safe through at least 2003. These documents were more recent - dated March 1999. We think that the Continental is safe through 2003, but past then, it's anyone's guess.
