26 August 99 • BlueOvalNews did NOT post any information after the court order was issued to us, as decided upon in Federal court yesterday. The court order was issued at 11:00; however, we had no knowledge of the order until much later in the day as the papers could not be delivered from the court house to us due to an incorrect address. • All documents posted after 11:00am yesterday were deleted as per the court order. When trying to access the documents below you might receive a 404 error code.
25 August 99 • FORD MOTOR COMPANY KILLS FREE SPEECH -Ford Motor Company succeeded today in obtaining a restraining order against BlueOvalNews in the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan Southern Division. (Case number 99-74205). We have not posted any documents since we received the court order, which prohibits us from doing so. BlueOvalNews has no choice but to abide by and fully respect the court's decision. Starting today, it's not what happens to BlueOvalNews that is of real importance, it's what happens to ALL OF OUR first amendment rights! This is precisely why BlueOvalNews will fight this lawsuit. It's ABSOLUTELY horrible and unacceptable when WE ALLOW companies like Ford to determine what consumers should be able to read and have access to! Is Ford getting so big that their dollars can effectively close sites who cater to the consumer? No doubt - Ford is a leading example why corporate America is way out of hand. . . . .our forefathers are turning in their graves due to this type of filth! It seems that many Americans have forgotten what "GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH" means. In good faith, BlueOvalNews had several meetings with Ford; however, like they did to FordUnleashed, they decided to give us a ONE DAY NOTICE to appear in federal court - with their five lawyers. Instead of working with us, Ford has decided to declare war on us and slap the U.S. Constitution across its face as well. Now you can see why I quote George Mason's "To disarm the people is the best and most effectual way to enslave them." Disarming doesn't just apply to firearms, but our ability to express ourselves as well......it applies to our overall FREEDOMS from companies like Ford who feel the first amendment can be effectively controlled though hordes of money. But be forewarned - wealth is never a long term precondition for power and rule - just study the Roman empire. In the next few days Ford might effectively close down BlueOvalNews as they did FordUnleashed and FordNetWork. If so, they have effectively chose which web sites YOU CAN READ AND WHICH YOU CAN'T. Which web site is next? Censorship? Maybe there was a Ford-Nazi connection? After all, didn't Henry Ford receive the highest medal awarded from Hitler? Whoever at Ford Motor Company concocted this plan to eliminate BlueOvalNews can now hold the sole responsibility for the documents we have released below - many of which would have never been released and they know that. . .maybe GM and Daimler will be smiling sometime real soon - thanks to a pack of rats at Ford.
